Extollo Adventures today is gearing up to help clean the great Himalayan Trails as soon as possible with the aim of inspiring travelers to travel responsibly and also to contribute towards ecotourism. Training about responsible tourism and eco bags will be provided to all trekkers travelling with us where they can pick trash they find on the trails and separate it into appropriate bins to recycle at the end of the day at each campsite.
Ecotourism is a tourism directed towards exotic often threatened natural environments intended to support conservation efforts and observe wildlife.
For several years, tourists from all over the world have toured round this amazing historical region of great people and culture and the reports about its beauty and climatic conditions have been tremendous. The practice of ecotourism has been on for years and every travel organization may or may not have taken a step to ensuring the conservation of the ecosystem. Most people think that a responsible travel only involves the conservation of the wildlife and nature but what is tourism if the natives of that area have no benefit to it but rather are harmed? Wont that be a parasitic relationship? The first step that Extollo Adventures made is to preserve the once appreciated paradise and make its legacy to stay forever. The pollutants (dirt, cans or non-biodegradable materials) have effects both on the environment, people and even the climate of the Himalayas of which I am afraid to say that the future will not be promising for ecotourism.
